    • THE SITUATION

      IT maintenance and management performs a key role in Plafonds vastly growing workforce of more than 2,000 staff. SolveIT continues to provide daily in house services with three full time engineers, both on and off site, alongside custom IT infrastructure solutions. We put in place full scale changes to the IT process by  understanding all of the initial issues faced by the company. Our team produces detailed weekly reports and analysis to assure the IT Department is on top of any issues at all times.

    • CHALLENGES

      The previous IT setup had no standard infrastructure and security – which required a major overhaul and improvement. Users issues were not being tracked, let alone being resolved. Their was no data backup system or recovery methods in place. Plafonds remote sites struggled with connecting to the main office server for seamless integration on projects. No assets were being tracked and their were incomplete records of IT asset distribution with staff.

    • SOLUTIONS

      Solve IT was determined to get the IT Services back up and running in a efficient way. Our IT team had to adhere on agreed service level agreements (SLA’s) to maintain swift and fast responses on all issues. We setup a ticketing system for all staff for accurate reporting and acceptability with issues that occur. Internal/external security also had to be re-assessed, which lead to us strengthening the firewall access list and internal IT policies.

      Backup Solutions were put into action, leading to the setup of localised backup and cloud disaster recovery. Issues are now being resolved on time and we will continue to provide proactive maintenance and solutions to a very happy customer.
